You Got to Get in the Thick of It

Just Another #BeautifulSunday

I sure did have a nice Sunday and wanted to share it with my awesome followers!

My son took out the jet ski..

I decided to kayak to where there were some nice water lilies...

Of course I had to get right in among the thick of it to get the shots...

That is a load of Sagittaria latifolia or better known as Arrowhead aquatic plants. Also notice the Mallard duck nesting tube.

Unfortunately they were not fully open...just my luck!

So I Decided to Paddle to see a purple plant for #colorchallenge Sunday...

It is an invasive plant called Purple Loosestrife. It is rather pretty but not good for wetlands!
