you have a concept, is it more logical to look at people doing similar things and get your own space or modestly look for how to partner especially when you are new?
Those words are questions my mentor asked when we were chatting yesterday. Sharing what I gain from my mentor to newbies gives me pleasure.
Which people do you admire most, or which people make you fire up when you read their post? Do you admire @surpassinggoogle, @pfunk, @stellabelle, @papa-pepper, @kus-knee @virtualgrowth or any other person?
It is not a crime to admire achievers on steemit or in the world in general, but I want to let you now that nothing significant was ever achieved by these individuals single handedly.
STEEMING ALONE
Living a lonely life can be boring and you might not have the support you want. As a newbie on steeemit, I decided to grow my follower page, I wanted to grow a list of people who believe me and are willing to support me.
Steeming alone can be frustrating as you do not have people to read your post, people to upvote your post, and people to criticize, commend and motivate you. There is a difference between a steemian who has 1000 followers and a steemian who has 10 followers.
A few steemian have the chance to read your post on the NEW page, as there are so many people posting on a daily bases.
WHAT I DID
it is okay when you are team, a small team you can call yours
My mentor emphasized on these words and I really understand it very well. He said @gbenga it is okay when you are a team, a small team you can call yours.
Steemians with high reputation have a lot of followers and are following several other steemians. This I refer to as their community. Steemit represents the universe, and creating your own continent or country would not be bad.
Instead of complaining that steemians who have high reputation do not upvote you, why not relate with other newbies on steemit gain followers and create your own continent, country or community
Create your own country on steemit; relate and make friends with steemians of high and low reputation just as I’m doing. Do not also forget that as you are creating yours you also make up another steemians country.
I’m creating my own country and I hope it doesn’t collapse. I also give special thanks to my mentor for continually teaching me.
