For this performance I first recorded my self speaking the poem with the camera and Pro Tools running. Once I was satisfied with the result I started on the instruments.
I layered seven tracks of instruments together to get the musical texture I was looking for. If you listen close there is a chain, a saw, a block of wood, a large piece of brass, a hollowed out maple log, a rain stick and a gong. I think that's about it :)
I take no credit for @goldenarms' work. My music is just a reaction to the poem. Much like one would write a poem after viewing the "David" statue or paint an image after coming home from seeing Shakespeare.
