"The scummiest vessel I'd ever seen," - One of the greatest sea-shanties, "Barrett's Privateers" tells the tale of a young privateer who was taken into the crew of the dirty Captain Barrett.
Stan Rogers is one of Canada's greatest singers. The big baritone sound of Rogers can rattle listener and bring them to tears with his soulful tales.
I hope you enjoy this rendition of "Barrett's Privateers." This has always been a favourite and I am glad I have had an opportunity to pay respects to the great Stan Rogers.
