We all know the reality of our American history and the imprint left by the conquerors when they arrived there. South America especially, and the Aztec lands were the most devoured by European ambitions.
This song not only recalls the plundering of mineral wealth but goes further when it highlights the case of immigrants who came to our territories. He reminds them that they were received with open arms and from all over the world, an example of this is Venezuela, which has Portuguese, Italian, Arab, German, Chinese, Peruvian, Chilean, and Bolivian colonies; among many.
I wanted to make this song because there is a lot of talk today about Venezuelans who are emigrating to other countries to seek economic improvements for their families because of the current situation. If something can serve this theme is for reflection and is the reason why it was created.
