After plenty of technical difficulties surrounding my usual video techniques, I'm back with a new Open Mic video for you all! Don't let the thumbnail fool you - this is another multitracked cover. The reason it doesn't look like a multitracked cover is that my phone screen has almost entirely given up on existence, and is rendering me unable to open my phone. Therefore I can take pictures and record videos, but nothing else (I can use Siri to call people still, thank god). It is now more of a bitch to retrieve and use these videos, so I took some shortcuts and just used iMovie to add my audio to a video of me taking my full vocal track. All the sounds you hear (guitar, bass, + drums) are being played by me :) I hope you enjoy this cover of "Cath..." by Death Cab for Cutie:
It's been a bumpy road in terms of technology lately. My phone is almost RIP, I had to update and troubleshoot on my Mac Mini for hours, my guitar amp is sounding fuzzy (probably needs new tubes), my other old video camera won't keep a charge... First world problems, amirite?
