Steemit Open Mic Week 91: "One Of These Nights" (The Eagles Cover) by @k0wsk1

Hey friends, I'm back with a new open mic submission! I recorded the bassline for this cover last night and worked on the rest of it quite literally all day today - it felt great to sink 9 straight hours into studio time, it's been awhile. I tried to upload this to D.Tube, but it wasn't letting me... So just a YouTube link this week! I hope you enjoy my cover of "One Of These Nights" by The Eagles:

I'm trying to learn from my mistakes, so I recorded the video at the same time as the audio this time around to get rid of my bad syncing problems that I had in my last multitrack submission :) I think it actually saved some time, and the video looks much cleaner. Woohoo! That being said, I forgot to record a video for the bass, so... There's only three shots. I got too far in the whole process to go back and record a video of me playing bass. Also not pictured: rhythm electric guitar part. I figured it would be clear that I'm playing all of the parts.

Original track by The Eagles:

Lyrics:

One of these nights, one of these crazy old nights

We're gonna find out, pretty mama, what turns on your lights

The full moon is calling, the fever is high

And the wicked wind whispers and moans

You got your demons, you got your desires

Well, I got a few of my own

Oh, someone to be kind to in between the dark and the light

Oh, coming right behind you, swear I'm gonna find you, one of these nights

One of these dreams, one of these lost and lonely dreams, now

We're gonna find one, mm, one that really screams

I've been searching for the daughter of the devil himself

I've been searching for an angel in white

I've been waiting for a woman who's a little of both

And I can feel her but she's nowhere in sight

Oh, loneliness will blind you in between the wrong and the right

Oh, coming right behind you, swear I'm gonna find you, one of these nights
