Another week, another Steemit Open Mic entry, amirite?!? This is an old favorite of mine, a Jack Johnson tune called "Gone". This is one of JJ's best songs IMO, one that really shows his ability to interrogate humanity with the questions most important and often avoided. In this case, these questions revolve around the material world and consumerism... I recommend that you read his lyrics below, they're really poignant and thoughtful. I hope you enjoy my cover:
