The song I've just submitted to week 81 of Steemit Openmic is my very first entry of an original song!
This is officially my second time entering the openmic and I'm excited that I have such a great opportunity to share this song with all of you!

I believe music can take you back in time and bring up such tangible memories; the memory of a friend's smile, the touch of a lover, a time when life was so very different, long forgotten memories and feelings that come back to you simply from hearing or singing a song.
Music is a powerful thing, friends, and I also believe with all my heart that it is a healing thing as well.
Anywho, I really appreciate @pfunk and @luzcypher for creating and hosting the Steemit Openmic for musicians in the Steemit community and look forward to continue supporting and being a part of it! 😏
