Hi dear Steemians!
Here we are for the OPEN MIC WEEK 57!!
Lisa & Rhavi with an original reggae song in portuguese.
Here is the Video!!
@rhavi @lisamalletart
We took a beautiful poem by Rudolf Steiner translated into portuguese to make this song.
"Eu contemplo o mundo,
onde o sol reluz,
onde as estrelas brilham,
onde as pedras jazem,
onde as plantas vivem
e vivendo crescem,
onde os bichos sentem
e sentindo vivem,
onde já o homem,
tendo em si a alma,
abrigou o espÃrito.
Eu contemplo a alma
Que reside em mim.
O divino espÃrito
age dentro dela
assim como atua
sobre a luz do sol.
Ele paira fora,
no amplidão do espaço
e nas profundezas
da alma também.
A Ti eu suplico,
ó divino EspÃrito,
que bênção e força
para o aprender,
para o trabalhar,
cresçam dentro em mim."
English version:
Upper Grades Morning Verse
"I look into the world
Wherein there shines the sun
Wherein there gleam the stars
Wherein there lie the stones.
The plants they live and grow.
The beasts they feel and live.
And humankind to spirit gives
A dwelling in the soul.
I look into the soul.
That living dwells in me
God’s spirit lives and weaves
In sunlight and in soul-light
In heights of worlds without
In depths of soul within
To thee O spirit of God,
I seeking turn myself
That strength and grace and skill
For learning and for work
In me may live and grow."
We recorded the video last week at the waterfall close to our house in Serra da Moeda (Minas Gerais, Brazil).
This poem inspired us a lot of joy and the feeling that the world we are living in is full of abundance.
Each time I´m singing it I´m feeling blessed and thankful.
I hope you liked it too ;)
With Love,
Lisa
