Right Now – we are TRACKING DRUMS & PERCUSSION!
We have got our initial reference track in place and it is already out for delivery to select “Drummers! .Midi files are the standard of choice when it comes to tracking drums. So, if you know of any drummers who have such skill and technical aptitude – by all means, do send them my way. My discord handle is: passion-ground#5524.
Once we are done tracking “drums” – we will quickly be moving on toward tracking Bass! As such, all you Bass players out there – or anyone who knows great Bass players, GET READY, and do reach out to me on discord for the next round of tracking!
A Dedicated Mega-MASH-UP Server on Discord
Given the organizational challenges inherent in such a project, I thought it wise and appropriate to set up a dedicated server on Discord to accommodate all of our participating artists.
The dedicated “MASH-UP” server provides an interactive venue in which all participating artists can ask questions to the creative team. More importantly, the dedicated server provides a host of information relative to the “Mash-Up” project, technical requirements, and the like.
I suspect this server will become a valuable resource for all artists who are actively pursuing musical roles in the forthcoming production.
Access to this server is by special invitation only. If you are seriously committed to participating in the epic Open-Mic event, then contact me on discord for further discussion. You can find me on discord at:

Getting a Good Jump
I am so glad that I got an early start on this project. There is so much work and organizational effort involved - that not allowing adequate time to get everything together as professionally as possible would have otherwise rendered the entire effort a total waste of time.
However, with a keen eye for quality and organization, and with the critical and essential help of @pechichemena and @nathankaye and others, we are currently on pace toward delivering a rather memorable tribute to the 2-year anniversary of the Open-Mic venue.
In closing, I hope that you enjoyed listening to “Work To Do” by the Average White Band whilst being updated as to the status of our “mega collaboration” in progress.
