My Entry to "Looking Back - Pay It Forward Curation Contest Week 17 - @thedarkhorse"

Do you know what makes life worthwhile? Caring and looking out for others.

This week, I too am following the example of a few @pifc "Senpai" (Japanese for persons more experienced in a field than yourself) and doing the "Looking Back?" entry.

I was honoured to have joined the @pifc community. I joined this contest in its 4th week and I can say that it gives me hope and I am happy that I am able to contribute to the upliftment of other Steemians. As such I will be looking back to see how my featured bloggers up to Week 12 have been doing.

My two featured bloggers for this week are:

1. @sams-world rep 48

@sams-world continues to produce thought provocative posts. His most recent post - Laughter comes in unexpected moments (1min), though just a tip of the iceberg, seeks to remind us that some of the worst and best moments in life come when we least expect them.

In the army, before a task, they used to school us to imagine the worst case scenario. That way, in case of horror, the mind is prepared. The most severe traumas happen then, they told us, when the horror is least expected.

How fascinating that the greatest joys and also the greatest hardships hit us when we are least expect them.

2. @kimberlylane rep 50

@kimberlylane caught me with her daily freewrites which aren't just regular creations. She continues to produce great posts that pull you in.

I would definitely love to see what goes on inside her mind as she writes these freewrites. Her latest post - Euphoric Forces - will not only get your mind moving, but also your body.

Movement means bodies doing something in my mind, and Beastie Boys too, get on down, the mic drops, Geronimo, and Good & Plenty’s and coupon dropping grannies, we all gotta get our spines a-going, a-bending, a-springing,...

Looking back at these bloggers, it feels like just yesterday. This week had me all up "in my feelings"; thinking that finding the willpower to continue is a decision that one has to make. It is not easy continuing on this platform where persons put in their all and feel unappreciated or under-rewarded. But, patience is indeed a virtue and like I said in a post months ago - "dweet fi di love nuh dweet fi di likes"(Do it for the love do not do it for the likes).

I want to congratulate all my featured bloggers who have managed to stay afloat and I hope that my inactive bloggers will find their way back. Blessings everyone.

Thank you for stopping by.

Please show these featured bloggers some love by visiting their blogs.
