PBSA is seeking software programmers with a passion for blockchain technology and 5 or more years experience programming in C++,to work at our headquarters in the “Defenbunker”, a military-grade nuclear bunker & software development center in Debert, Nova Scotia.

TECHNICAL
- Proficiency in C++ language and toolchains
- Knowledge of RUST programming language a plus
- Familiarity with defensive programming principles and practices including cryptography, exploitation, and application security
- Ability to work in a Linux or Windows development environment
- Experienced in Android, iOS, and OSX application development
- Prior blockchain experience a plus
PERSONAL
- Strong aptitude for working independently, but also the ability adapt to the demands of a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Ability to implement, debug, and support software applications written in C++
- Excellent communication skills
- Relocation to the Debert Nova Scotia area is required

What we are looking for
Software Project Manager
Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, the Netherlands

JOB DESCRIPTION
The PBSA is looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to oversee and drive new and existing software development projects at its Amsterdam, Netherlands office. You will work together with top management to lead one or more teams. Projects involve both the core Peerplays blockchain technology and the development of front-end user applications.
DO YOU:
- Have a strong technical background with hands-on software development experience?
- Have a proven track-record in IT Project Management across a range of technologies?
- Understand how business decisions feed into technology development (and vice versa)?
- Work effectively both on-site and remotely with colleagues, contractors, and other third parties based in different timezones?
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key actor in the design, review and evaluation of project plans and documentation
- Apply effective project management, risk management, and reporting methodologies (day-to-day and mid-/long-term)
- Track project progress with respect to time, budget and demonstrated results
- Responsible for successful execution of launch & updates of new/existing technology
- Communicate progress to top management and modify schedules as required
- Establish and manage product QA processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned or requested
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years experience working as an IT analyst or other technical project management roles
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or other related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrate a leadership role in at least three successful projects that were delivered on time and on budget.
- 2-3 years minimum hands-on software development/coding experience
