Erythronium is a genus of perennial plants of the Lilian family, which is estimated by experts from 20 to 32 species. All of its representatives belong to ornamental plants, most of them are rare. In the territory of Ukraine known only species - erythronian dog tooth, entered in the Red Book of Ukraine (II category).
