They say if you want to see CHANGE start within ourselves first. I wrote this blog tonight, not only to give thanks and share about what happened yesterday in this charity event. It is to embolden…. bring this around my fellow steemians, beings in the Philippines and abroad to help and give meaning to others just as how we give value to ourselves.
Reuploaded. It's in HD now. Yey!
This is it PANCIT! The second charity event of PROJECT ALINAGA alongside @steemph, an event sharing awareness through arts and music has finally happened yesterday at De La Salle Dasmariñas.
This is a joined project of Tribo Alinaga and @steemph to share cryptocurrency, how Steemit platform and community could help them, and even how they could use their unique talents to earn and lift people up who are in need.
The program has divided into two sessions. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. The opening of both programs was started by Tribo Alinaga's educative performance using their musical cultural instruments from different parts of the world.
This band use their ability and knowledge to build and fund projects that help children and youth. They advocate to continue and help our culture in music and arts to grow again that's now in danger to be lost and forgotten.
After they've shown how to perform those instruments, they share each of it with every student so they could also try to play and use it for a little while.
And the room was filled with music, angels voices and love.
Sir Marlon encourage the hearts of the youth to show their own talents to poetry, playing instruments or singing which these young ones did right away.
The smile and the joy on the faces of these young souls are amazing! It's a great feeling to be part of this moment in life to be connected with other human beings. You may not know their name, but music and art unite people as one. A gift that is incomparable with any material in this world. A happy memory that will lasts a lifetime in heart and mind forever.
