Phoneum - cryptocurrency concept for mobile devices

The application is only for the testing purposes, all coins will be burned after the official release.

A few Steemians already represented this app and this business, but they failed to deliver any other information but basic things, how to download it from the Google Play and how to start it... LOL

As an introduction, let's discuss a few simple things about mining on mobile devices.

I heard a lot of crazy statements about mining this or that on the smartphone. There is a reason why we need a rig to mine anything. If you don't believe me try using Monero script from the Coinhive on your smartphone. It is really difficult to force a phone to do anything in that question.

Even if there is a way, and there is a way, the profitability is pretty crappy.

The best example is mining with the MinerGate Mobile Miner. It will not freeze your phone or break anything. It won't explode or burn.
But, with the best chance, if you for example mine Monero, you can make about 0.1 euros per week...
I can make 0.07 euros because my phone is weak.

So, the Phoneum concept is not the newest thing out there or something unheard. The interface is ok, the wallet looks decent, it is slow and it doesn't affect phone functionality.
In short, it is working.

I don't have any social networks on my phone and nothing needs 5-second live feed or the constant updates to heavily disrupt my phone, so I can keep it on. It doesn't even look like it is draining the battery. I have a spare battery protocol, so it would inform me that something is sucking out my juice too much.

So, whatever it is, it is built not to interfere with the smartphone's regular work.

I don't expect to see some big earnings with this, but I just hope it will be better than MinersGate Mobile...

Inside of the Phoneum

I will show you a few screencaptures how it is working, but also what is going on with my battery and working memory. It seems to be very easy on a phone.

This is what you see when you open it

There is a statement this is only beta and everything created will be burnt

The only question is - how profitable Phoneum is going to be?
Am I going to be able to buy something with this?
What trading pairs the Phoneum will include? in the exchanges

Now, about their website, and some details about tokens and stuff.

Their tokens are available on their website, people can buy or earn them by promoting their idea on various social networks.

So, in short, you finish a task on Twitter and earn a few tokens. Fair enough.

The team is also pretty big, made of 12 team members, 8 professional advisers, and teh Camplight as supporting partners.
The project roadmap is outlined with a project release on markets somewhere during July 2018.

Crowdsale starts in 11 weeks.

Conclusion: if I can top up my phone with it, or buy myself a coffee I see no reason why not to use it.
