When I arrived in Bodrum, the first thing I noticed was how small a town was for a well-publicized tourist resort. Already later, a couple of weeks later, I realized that all the popular and elegant hotels are located outside, have their own beaches and bays, and even parts of the reserved forest.
The little Gumusluk is located a few kilometers behind Bodrum. Such little town arose like from the fairy tale. For me, Gumusluk became a true discovery. A piece of a completely different world in a country already familiar to me, it turned out to be much more miniature and unusual than I expected.
Unique lilac, bright blue and pink sunsets are not uncommon here, but a usual thing and snow-white houses scattered over the hills look even more beautiful when evening fires light on their facades and numerous narrow streets. Here, in Gumusluk, it is very important to have a room in the hotel, apartment or villa with a nice panoramic view, otherwise, you will only see the window of the neighboring house, which by the way, is usually located just 2 meters from yours.
Gumusluk for me always will remain an exceptionally remarkable memoir. The night panorama of a hill with white like magic houses still seems to me to be an unreal miracle or just a fantasy.
