Heart Reef in the Whitsundays Paradise

Any chance I get to jump in a helicopter with my camera I will take. I tend to cringe at the cost when I hand over payment for a 30min or 1 hour flight, but that all feels worth it once we lift off.
Flying over the Whitsundays islands in Queensland is incredible. Looking down on beautiful turquoise water and seeing pristine beaches, multi-million dollar yachts and even whales, with no doors on the helicopter is an experience like no other. The main sight to see on this journey was of course the Great Barrier Reef and in particular, this heart shaped coral reef.

After this helicopter flight I ended up spending a week on a 13m Catamaran with my wife and friends. We got to see the islands and beaches and sail where we wanted with the wind and without a care.
