Baščaršija is the name of the Oriental style old town of Sarajevo that makes you feel like you are a world away from Europe, somewhere in the Middle East. Besides numerous historical buildings, market stalls and shops, there is always the smell of freshly grilled Ćevapčići in the air. The uniqueness of this district attracts many tourists and can be described as the main attraction of the Bosnian capital.
