Usually I'm more reserved about self-portraits, but that evening in front of the opera house in Astana, I had the feeling that a person would fit well into the image coposition. After a few attempts with the self-timer, I finally managed to make the picture look as I had imagined it and after the post-processing I was more satisfied with the result than I actually expected.
Normalerweise halte ich mich meist eher zurück, was Selbstportriats betrifft, aber an diesem Abend vor dem Opernhaus in Astana, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass eine Person gut in die Bildkoposition passen würde. Nach einigen Versuchen mit dem Selbstauslöser, gelang es mir schließlich, das Foto so aussehen zu lassen, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte und nach der Nachbearbeitung war ich mit dem Ergebnis eigentlich zufriedener als erwartet.
