Amish Boy

This weekend I was in Pennsylvania for a family reunion. The area where the reunion was is populated by a large community of Amish people, which means a constant stream of buggies to maneuver around and bountiful amounts of whoopie pie stands along the road. If you're not familiar with the Amish you should look them up and learn something new today! They're a really interesting group of people and have some pretty unique rules and traditions.

On Saturday my family went out to get some ice cream (paid for by Grandma, as is our tradition) and as I was sitting outside on a bench this Amish father and his son walked by to go into the store. I snuck this shot with my camera on my lap, and was really pleased with how it turned out!

P.S. I'm trying out posting from Steempeak.com for the first time - it's a new front-end site for the Steem blockchain. So far I'm a fan and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try! There's a great group of people behind it and I'm excited to see their continued work on it.
