After Taichi practise couple of months ago, I went the National University of Singapore for lunch and decided to check out a new place at the Alumni House building. It's called Reedz.

前几月前，一个星期六练完太极拳后，我去了新加坡国立大学吃午餐，并决定去试在Alumni House 大楼的一个新地方。这叫做Reedz。

When I arrived just after noon, only one couple was just finishing their food. The two staff we saw seems rather bored. They tried to close off one section of the place by putting 2 chairs there.

当我到时时刚过中午，只有两个人就快吃完。我们看到的两名工作人员似乎相当无聊。仿佛像把一区封闭。看两把椅子放在那里吗？

They have some drinks and chips to choose from.

饮料的选择还好。薯片也不少口味。

On the menu, there are snacks, sandwiches, pasta and some western food. If you rather not wait, you can get these muffins. We ordered the Cajun grilled chicken and a fish and chip which cost $5.90 each. With a meal, you can add on $1.60 to get a drink like iced coffee. So, I took the iced coffees and a pager to a table to wait for the food.

菜单上有小吃，三明治，意大利面和一些西餐。如果你等不及，就可以买这些松饼。我们点了烤鸡肉和炸鱼薯条。每份$5.90。加$1.60就有被冰咖啡。我把冰咖啡和一个传呼机拿到桌边等食物。

On the wall the other side, this decorative pattern says "I love Paris". Nice.

Then the pager buzzed and I collected the food which looks nice enough.

The lady was thinking she should not have ordered the fish and chip now. Do you think you would like the chicken or the fish?

Later, more people (mostly students) came. Some were just buying to take out. Maybe back to the hostel.

Overall, a cosy enough place. I'll probably come and chill again if have the chance and try their sandwiches. Just too bad, they close at 3pm on Saturday and does not open on Sunday.
