Still in the month of August. We have our National Day celebration this month. This year is quite significant for me as I was invited to the National Day Reception at Istana, the President's official residence. Across the road from the main entrance to Istana is what is Istana Park which I passed by recently as I walked from Somerset to Plaza Singapura.

现在还是8月。这个月我们新加坡庆祝国庆。今年对我来说有点特别因为我应邀参加了总统府的国庆招待会。最近我从索美塞走到狮城经过在总统府大门对面的总统府公园。
