Woke up late last Sunday? You missed lots of fun with #getactivesg (by @ace108)

Season finale of our car-free Sunday in the civic district was last Sunday doubled up with launching activities of the #getactivesg. This post is photographic story of the happenings at padang on last Sunday.

BEFORE. Some work to get things going.....

As I left home, the sun also had not woken up. By the time I reach padang, it were already crowded with people.

The stage was getting the final cosmetics

The bird is getting ready to be deployed...

...and took off to do some work.

More people stomp in. TeamNila was there

After the guest of honour arrive, the people assembled to sing the National Antheme and give their pleghe to Singapore.

Then, off we go.

AND we walk and we and we walk....

STOP but there is more around the padang....

First, re-hydrate...

Gather for a dance....

Drawing weapons at the arsenal...

...for mini war-game

Even our guests get a toss of the ball...

and a spin of the wheels...

or get some tips on safe riding

You don't have to dress up but it seems more fun that way.

The friendly beverage supplier through all our sports days is here to support again.

Yes, the walk earlier was a big crowd but you likely not bump into people unless you are into some bubble football later.

If you are into more proper football, try to score.

Kids have their play too...

and resources to build what you can imagine.

Tired already? Buy your soya bean snacks, sandwiches and coffee. Relax and listen to the band playing nearby.

At the end, if you need to do some "business", why not?

All in, it was good fun to #getactivesg with things suitable for children and adults.

Car-free Sunday will return in October.

See you then.

Remember: You snooze, you lose.

Hope you all like it. If you do, please vote. Please share any feedback you may have.

Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.
