Yellow fields - flower macros [4 photos]

Hello Steemians,

I hope you had a great day so far :)

These weeks everything turned yellow - yellow petunias, yellow tulips, yellow pansies etc. So, I couldn't help it and I've taken some photos of the rapeseed fields.

Rapeseed (Brassica napus) is a flowering member of the family Brassicaceae (mustard or cabbage family) which is consumed as vegetables in some countries like South Africa or China.

In the '70s, the Canadian scientists started promoting the plant for canola consumption. Today, it is mostly used for animal feeds and biodiesel, main producers being Canada, China, India, the European Union and Australia.
