Rotterdam's Edgy Cube Houses(and Quirky) : An Alokchitri's PhotoBlog

Have you ever thought of living in a house, that is a box, which is tilted and suspended above the street. It seems some good souls in Rotterdam have been calling this edgy design by Piet Blom as their home for decades now. These cluster of cube houses was designed by Piet Blom in 1984 for addressing high density housing issue. I was in Rotterdam yesterday and had experienced this architectural marvel at close quarter, what impressed me most are the clean geometrical shapes and lines forming such edgy design, the symmetric parallel lines makes it so trippy.
