I had an appointment, right near Parker river National Wildlife Reservation, today.
I also had my brand new, never used, lens with me. So, a trip up to Christen It, so to speak.
I promised myself, first shot, no matter what, would get posted.
And there it is.
Not perfect focus (in fact, pretty lame: the reeds in front of the Heron are Tack Sharp!), nor good framing, either.
Irony, is: it's a Life Bird for me: A Tri-coloured Heron. First time ever seeing one.
Geeky Camera Stuff:
Nikon d7000, 600mm, f 6.3, 1/500th.
No processing. I wanted to post as is.
