It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - South American Saturday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. Even though the number of submissions for this particular challenge was rather low, their images were absolutely stunning and the selecting the winning one was not easy. Having a lower number of participants allowed me to give them a higher upvote on their entry as opposed to having 10 qualifying images.

This is the Chilean Patagonia, vast fields rolling endlessly to the end of the continent. I took this photo on my way to El Paine, a national park with one of the largest glaciers in South America.

This was the last entry for this week's weekly competition and we will be starting again with the new one and back to the continent of Asia. Get your pictures ready as I will be making a post for you to start placing your pictures very shortly.
