🐢🐢 Tortise Power 🐢🐢

I am entitling this a shoot-off adventure because there were just too many photos to feature in one of the other parts to the adventure series and it really doesn't follow the full adventure theme.

This is a tortise they have on the grounds. I do believe they said he was about 20 years or so old. Tortises can live a very long time. Infact they can live to over 100+ years and very much longer than that given the right environment.

Tortises are different than Turtles. Turtles can swim Tortises can not! So let's begin the adventure!

This is Timmy! Timmy loves to be fed. He was out in his enclosure waiting on us to feed him.

"Hey guys! Whatcha got for me?" He races over. They are not as slow as people think.

"Yum! This is my favorite!" Yes Timmy the Tortise talks! (ok maybe not but can we just pretend he does?)

And he scores! Thanks to @awesomemike being the brave soul he is to risk his finger being eaten too!

These two are starting to become great buddies!

Although I love this guy, he wanted me to drop his food on the ground for him. I guess he liked @awesomemike more...

Look at that Tortis smile. Ok, so I don't know if they smile because they are happy or not but I am going to say he is pretty happy!
