Samadhi Statue is an ancient Buddha's statue which is situated in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura is one of the kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka and this statue is considered to be the best sculptures in Anuradhapura era. The 7 feet 3 inches (2.21 meters) height statue was build with dolomite marble during 3rd or the 4th century.
Depending on the angle you look at the face of the statue shows two different features. Looking the face from the left side shows a slight sadness face and from right a slightly smiling face.
The statue was found in 1886 fallen and with damages to the nose. It was then reconstructed again in 1914.
