I hung out at two back-to-back anarchist conferences, and here are a few pics + highlights. 🖤🏴

First, GIANT THANKS to everyone who organized, and attended, Anarchapulco and Anarchaforko!! What a blessed blur of smart, activated, fun people to share time with!

If you have ever had an "issue" with tiny boxes, immoral authorities, tyrannical governments, or repressed freedom, then I highly recommend you plan to attend one or both of these liberating events next year.

I got very few pictures, and not a single one with a celebritarian.

I admire all activism that affirms life, but I can't help but wonder what it might look like if we decentralized OUR ATTENTION??

How would the world change for the better if we FULLY GAVE OURSELVES to the things that fascinate us most deeply (regardless of what others might think about those things)?

What if we took a break from hovering 'round the micro-actions of others... and shone a spotlight on the (reasoned, harmless) urges within our own being??

I'll just never understand how/why a photog with X, Y or Z garners social credibility. Why aren't our own original, creative, helpful, calming, healing, expanding, stimulating ideas or expressions enough to DO THAT?

Especially among sovereigns?

Linus is so badass, he walked a considerable distance on a sprained ankle with a way-too-short crutch, just so he could fork. (Much respect, and hope it's feeling better.)

Anarchapulco and Anarchaforko both celebrate anarchy, but differently. A few distinctions are:

  • Schedule-Driven vs. Synchronicity-Driven

  • Highly Curated By A Few vs. Self-Appointed By Each/All

  • 'Suburban' Venue (plush, gated paradise) vs. 'Urban' Venue (city grit, funk, and beauty)

  • Celebritarianism vs. Everyone-ism

The left side of these points resemble the systems we already know. They are repeated, because they work. They also spring from methods that favor mass and volume. Growth is great, but diverse perspectives tend to get sacrificed.

The right side of these points resemble spontaneously ordered methods that we are learning/resisting to implement. They are messy and erratic, because spontaneity. Flow is great, but predictability tends to get sacrificed.

I love that such different experiences -- both offering their own unique gifts -- can be enjoyed within a few days and miles of each other.

Vowels matter. Without 'em, you might read the Bitcoin Cash sticker below as: "Bitch, please!" That's what my friend, Richard, says he sees, anyway.

For strong and great ideas, talk with this woman.

erika-and-starr.jpg

Starr is so creative, an abundance of it even spilled over to her daughter, Raven... who is a crazy-gifted young artist. Being unschooled is a big part of her blossoming artistry, I bet.

Imagine life with the sustenance, space, and supplies needed TO EXPRESS YOUR MOST BEAUTIFUL STUFF. Honestly, what more serviceable and enjoyable thing IS there to aspire to? Drudge and dread is the currency of The Matrix. Out of which, we have dropped! Freedom feeds itself... as does slavery. So get with your Red Pill Fam as often as finances, and circumstances allow. You may have to change your finances and/or circumstances. So be it. Your Real Life is worth it.

@nitego works with the sponsor of Anarchaforko, SmartCash.

In a chat with her, I learned that she came to the event with firmly established beliefs about cannabis that had been shaped by disinformation from the still-at-work Reefer Madness campaign. After spending 3 days around attendees who (semi-openly) loved and consumed cannabis, she noted how "perfectly reasonable and enjoyable" everyone was.

None of the horrible things she had been cautioned against all her life happened.

In fact, the opposite happened.

Fantastic ideas, and liberating information was exchanged. Always peaceably. With an outright interest in bettering ourselves, and the world.

She seemed favorably impressed by what she saw, and another errant opinion about cannabis has been changed, by consumers simply being themselves, without shame.

One of my favorite local artists, Daphne, offered her beautiful henna designs at the Fork. This is my second from her:
