Yesterday there was a lot of snow in Saxony, East Germany. Ten centimetres of fresh snow were found in Leipzig. After the long cold period we had been looking forward to the spring, but such a little bit of snow is fun and maybe it will be the last until the next winter. So we are still out after work and used the last rays of light for a short walk....

Es hat gestern noch mal ganz schön geschneit bei uns in Sachsen. Zehn Zentimeter Neuschnee kamen zumindest in Leipzig zusammen und der Verkehr gleich teilweise zum Erliegen ;). Nach der langen Kältephase hatten wir beide uns zwar schon auf den Frühling gefreut, aber so ein bisschen Schnee macht uns doch auch Spaß und vielleicht ist es ja auch der letzte bis zum nächsten Winter. Also sind wir nach der Arbeit noch mal kurz raus und haben die letzen Lichtstrahlen für einen kleinen Spaziergang genutzt...

In spite of snowfall I have tried some macro photos. Trotz Schneefall habe ich mal ein paar Makrofotos probiert. The snow makes real flowers here, doesn't it? - Der Schnee zaubert hier richtige Blüten, oder?

I had to dive deep into the cold white. - Dabei musste ich ganz schön in das kalte Weiß eintauchen.

Today we went out again and were in the small forest behind the garden (see photo with bench). - Heute sind wir noch mal raus und waren in dem kleinen Waldstück hinter der Gartenanlage (siehe Foto mit Bank).

After Work I just had to take some more pictures. - Ich musste einfach noch mal ein paar Bilder machen nach der Arbeit.

And a little closer you can discover more. - Geht man näher ran, kann man noch mehr entdecken.

It comes to my mind that I also took some great pictures in the summer. Here's one of them: - Dabei fällt mir ein, dass ich im Sommer auch ein paar tolle Bilder in der Art gemacht habe. Hier ist eines davon:

Oh, I slipped. - Mist, ich bin ausgerutscht.

Now we go quickly home and take a nice warm bath - Schnell nach Hause für ein schönes, warmes Bad.
