In summer when it's the hottest the delicate Cosmos flowers bloom. They seems like little fairies, but they are strong. We do get pretty strong winds here on the balcony, and they did very well in the windiest corner!
Always liked them. They remind me those countryside gardens with old wooden fences. Seems like everyone had them when I was a kid. Cosmos, daisies, wild roses and hollyhocks. :)
