Architecture - Casa Batlló

Here is a house called Casa Batlló, developed by one of the masters of Catalan Modernism architecture, Antoni Gaudí. I took this photo during a visit to the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain.

More info from http://www.bellesguardgaudi.com/en/blog/gaudi-buildings-barcelona:

''Casa Batlló is a true work of art. A common theory about the building that the rounded feature to the left of centre, terminating at the top in a turret and cross, represents the lance of Saint George(patron saint of Catalonia), which has been plunged into the back of the dragon. The details of this building also show Gaudí at his best. Gaudí was commissioned to reform the old house of Josep Batlló I Casanovas, who was a textile industrial. Although this masterpiece had been disputed by the municipal authorities, it was selected as one of the best works of 1906 by Barcelona City Council.''
