The state park is flooded badly, so more photos of the beaver will have to wait for the swelling to go down... The water is over the trail in several places.
On the way out of town, I stopped at the Rapidan Dam park and saw this old filling station. Too bad it doesn't still work. I $0.31/gallon would be a steal in today's market! Prices haven't been that low since the 60's, I'd guess! Too bad there wasn't a '57 Lincoln convertible parked beside it, instead of that blue car and camper...
