Architectural photography | "Bridge"

I'm always amazed by the structure of bridges, in the early times they were designed to provide connection to areas that are not possible to access by foot. Over time, the designers and builders has evolve the design to make it aesthetically pleasing, aside from its basic function.

The bridges of today are designed to be unique and interesting. At times, they even represent the locality where it belong to. The bridge could be the centerpiece of a certain place, it could serve as the entrance leading to a town, and it could be the connection between two districts.

They serve as the icon of a place and or a city.
