Hi Steemit,
One popular type of breakfast in Northern Cameroon is Peanut Soup accompanied by kind of doughnut, baked in fat.
The doughnuts are a little greasy, but very delicious, like the american doughnuts or the german crullers.
When we where heading for a trip to lak tizon, a famous crater lake and chute de la vina a nearby waterfall, walking through the wilderness around Ngaoundéré, we took a rest for breakfast at the market in Bamyanga, an outer quarter of Ngaoundéré.
Here, I'm sitting and relaxing with Hairou and Alim, who accompanied me on the hike.
All the market sellers were building up their sales booth and having a small breakfast.
The moto drivers were waiting for clients, talking about the latest news of the city.
The shoe makers or shoeblacks were also waiting for clients.
And young ladies were making an extra income for their families, by selling their baked doughnuts and peanut soup, to bypassing passengers and everybody who wanted a little breakfast.
As you can see even the children like that tasty peanut soup.
Starched and refreshed, Alim, Hairou and I were continuing our hike to lak tizon, of which I will tell you more in a future post.
Stay steemed
Love, Unity & Abundance
