Editing My Flower Photos Applying What I Know In Art Making🌷🕊️ let's appreciate nature once again ☝️💭

Nature is both beautiful and interesting 🌱💭

Often we come across plants we have never seen or to which we know not the name.

I edited my photos just using my cellphone.
I tried to highlight their best quality of which I'll apply the
Principles of design for it.

I used my cellphone Nokia 5 Android 13mp camera to take pictures and edit them!
Sharing my photos again this time
🎐Simply enjoy🎐

The Yellow Bell

Golden Bell
Yellow is a very striking color.
It is the brightest and strongest wavelength that catches attention quickly because the wavelength reaches the eyes faster.

All warm colors are strong and noticeable.

So for this picture

unedited yellow bell

  • I lessen the exposure and contrast
  • Add shadow and highlights

I noticed the texture of the flower comes out better and I added

  • Warmth
  • Saturation

This way it comes out more golden. Black and yellow/gold have a very powerful and charismatic combination.

Remember: black always makes colors pop. It makes all colors more vibrant.

The Late Bloomer

I loved how this last flower hasn't bloomed it adds something more to the bunch.

Warm colors
So I added more contrast and warmth here. It helps the pink bud stand out amongst the white and yellows all around.

Frangipani💐
I wanted to make it look more mysterious, I applied the same adjustments I did to the yellow bell.

Here's another picture

I try to explore possible effects different combinations bring.

Which also led me to this!

The black and white effect is very cool! I emphasized shadows by adjusting the blacks and whites, vignette, contrast, darkness.

*Emphasis and Subordination: I love how the light source is is emphasized.

Apart from the flowers being the main subject theres a little more details on lighting and the small hint of highlight on the table and vase where it's placed so you know the setting even if the flowers are in total darkness 😅💭

Flowers by the window

The black and white effect makes me feel how "yesterday" this was. It's some good memory of our past and the sunlight on the flowers feels warm and fresh.

Flowers we have in our garden
This is a close up so I lighten the picture and add warmth.

Whereas in this photo...

I contrasted the red and green
Theyre complimentary colors. Green makes red pop.

Can you see?
The letter "S"

Our plant bloomed 3x its usual. So pretty!

The Beacon

I adjusted this adding brightness and color.

Choosing a filter
I tried out a filter with a viginette effect. Now it looks like a real beacon!

This looks good if it's brighter as well especially if the blue shades are defined and the sun beam more yellow or orange. Blue and orange are compliments to each other

This I found peculiar. I don't know what this is. But it's beautiful.

2018-02-02 02.18.09 1~2.jpg
I adjusted the brightness, I lowered it, added color and contrast. Warmer hue and sharpness.

Here they are in plain sight. If my friend hadn't told me I wouldnt have noticed.

Next we have this tree. With nice red flowers.

Red Wood
2018-01-22 04.55.22 1~2.jpg
I put red hues and warmth. Also more contrast and sharpness.

I think it looks less dull this way.

Warmth (a yellowish or orange hue) always adds more life to a picture and it looks better some say.

Red red red!

I added saturation and contrast!
The red and green make each other pop.

That's all of it!
I can't give tips, I'm just new to this but I love taking photos of art, animals and nature.

Atleast I am very sure that these help a lot in photography and art.
