Scenes from The First Snowfall

Yesterday we got our first snowfall of the year. A few inches accumulated but it won't stick around for long. It is still considered fairly early for snow, most of the big storms come in late January through February. Some of the trees around here still have leaves. I took a drive around town and got some pictures before the snow all melts away.

Flag Rock

Flag Rock was coated with a thin layer of snow. The brisk ocean breeze had the flag swaying.

The Sea Wall

The Sea Wall looked icy. A clear mark was left from the tide on rocks below.

The Beach

No need for a life guard today! The beach was deserted.

The Docks

No boats today! Just a beautiful view of the empty docks.
