I usually avoid malls like the plague (unless I've been traveling a long time and want to feel like I'm in America for an hour or so), but the Larcomar in Lima, Peru is different. It is open air and built right into a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and even has a restaurant from Peruvian super chef Gaston Acurio. And to top it all off, if you visit around sunset you can see paragliders flying overhead. This is one mall that is actually worth a visit.
