Japan Photo Blog, Vol. 31: Kira Kira Kouen

Sora. "Sky."

Today my family and I went to a new park here in Niigata Prefecture called キラキラ公園, or "Kira Kira Park." "Kira Kira" means "sparkly."

This park is still being built but is already open with a couple of neat attractions. There is a pedal go-kart course, and, as you'll see in the pictures below, a kind of surreal white marshmallow-y moon walk pillow/cushion/trampoline slapped on a beautiful green hill in the middle of the vast, interminable Niigata rice plains.
