Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un lugar muy especial para los colombianos, se trata de el hermoso cerro de Monserrate situado a 3.152 metros de altura de los cerros Orientales de Bogotá.
El cerro ha sido lugar de peregrinación desde la época de la colonia, su santuario del Señor Caído, de gran valor religioso, es visitado por miles de peregrinos católicos.
La cruz ubicada en la falda del cerro es simbolo de la ascención del Señor caído de Monserrate.
Es un lugar muy hermoso para fotografiar y para pasar un día en familia.

Today I want to share with you a very special place for the Colombians, it is a beautiful hill of Monserrate located at 3,152 meters of altitude of the Eastern hills of Bogota.
The hill has been a place of pilgrimage since the time of the colony, its sanctuary of the Fallen Lord, of great religious value, is visited by thousands of Catholic pilgrims.
The cross located in the skirt of the hill is symbol of the ascension of the fallen Lord of Monserrate.
It is a very beautiful place to photograph and to spend a day with the family.
A el se puede llegar a pié, en teleférico o en funicular dependiendo de la disponibilidad de tiempo de cada persona y del clima. / To the hill can be reached by foot, by cable car or funicular depending on the availability of time of each person and the weather.
El lugar está lleno de escaleras y caminos empedrados. / The place is full of stairs and cobblestone roads.
