I've been on the lookout for any chickens with silkie genetics and finally after a year we've found what seems to at least a high content silkie cross, if not a pure smooth feathered silkie which looks more like a regular chicken except for it's feet, head and general demeanor.
We spent 180 pesos on her and she's not yet layed an egg but is confirmed female.
Anyone with some silkie experience know if she's a cross or not?
Regardless we like her and have named her Salty.
