Hello Folks! Check out this entry to #animalphotography. King Penguins in Tierra del Fuego
Back in 2017 I did a big hitchhiking trip around Patagônia that lasted me more than 10.000km and 62 days, for that I plan a series of posts, don't worry.
Well, amongst all the incredible things I saw, the King penguins were for sure one of the coolest, specially this especies.
The King penguins are the second largest especies of penguins in the world and the coolest part about it is that they can be seen only in Antarctica or in some small islands far south. I spotted them in Tierra del Fuego, in a place called Useless Bay, this was named in 1827 by captain Phillip Parker King, because the Useless Bay "afforded neighter anchorage nor shelter, nor any advantage for the navigator".
If its difficult enough to sail those waters today, can you imagine in 1827? Leave your thoughts on the coments!
