Capturing the World #10 - Cave Painting in Sri Lanka

Dear friends! Welcome to today’s episode of
"Capturing the World".



In this series, I try to reveal our world's beauty in a creative way. I take photographs of landscapes and cityscapes on my travels in order to let you guys travel with me and see amazing places through my lens. In the last entry, I took you to the beautiful fields of Tuscany. Check it out if you haven't already!


Cave Paintings in Sri Lanka


When I climbed Sigirya Rock at 6 in the morning, I was the first person up there. I had not read much about it, I never do. It could be laziness but I like to think that traveling is more adventurous if you don't read books about the places you go beforehand.

Anyways, I climbed Sigiriya and was astonished by the cave paintings everywhere. They are originals and very beautiful. Enjoy!
