This morning was cloudy but not raining, perfect conditions to go shoot some minimalist nature photography!
The mostly uniform grey skies serve as both backdrop and as a giant softbox for great light.
Set your camera to get the exposure you want on the shadow side of your subject and to over expose and blow out the sky.

The top two subjects were placed on the dirty plexi glass roof that shelters my bicycle from the rain!
