This is my entry of Juliank's Monday Food Photography Challenge. This food may scare many people, the turtle jelly @@. This is a famous Chinese medical food in Canton. Usually found in Chinese herbal tea shops. It has detox function, swipe out bad materials in the body. Many people believe eating turtle jelly can solve the acne problem because it is caused by dirty inside the body. The main ingredient is shown as its name. The bottom shell of turtle is used. However, sometimes there is news that shops sell turtle jelly which has no turtle. Haha... good news for whom afraid of it.
這是星期一的JULIANK食物攝影，這東西可能會嚇到不少人，就是龜苓膏了。偶爾吃它來排毒。看資料說是兩廣特產，中原北方有沒有吃這個的習慣呢？雖然它材料有點奇特，但其實有時候就會聽說檢出店家自制的沒有龜成份在裡頭xDD 所以覺得怕怕的人也可以吃了(被騙啊xD)

The can on left hand side is yellow sugar and the right one is syrup. Because turtle jelly tastes bitter, people like eating with sweet seasoning. I only add a few drops of syrup.
左邊是黃糖，右邊是糖漿。因為龜苓膏苦苦的，人們喜歡加糖吃，但我覺得還好，只加一點點糖漿在表面。
The shop is not large, I was sitting at the corner. The cool turtle jelly is stored in fridge, and the hot one are in the small food warmer display case.
涼茶舖通常不會太大，我坐的已經是角落了。有冰箱和暖櫃，冷吃熱吃皆可。
