This male large red damselfly (Pyrrhosoma nymphula) was just hanging around looking pretty:

The azure damselflies (Coenagrion puella) on the other hand were having a busy day.
Just as I was getting a shot of one sitting on a leaf, another one landed and yet another one flew into the frame. Bloody tourists always do that:

The reason for the stretching became clear later; there were eggs to be deposited, and the male holds on to the female while she does that:

I suspect they went for a beer next, but I didn't manage to get photos of that.
