It seems the season for the small copper (Lycaena phlaeas), kleine vuurvlinder in Dutch, has started in earnest. I saw these two days ago in the Aamsveen, a peat bog in The Netherlands near the German border (all is quiet at the border, btw, no worries):
This is the first one I spotted, looking around for food, I think:
