Macro is All around you
This set of Macro photographs was taken on the wall outside my studio. In among the flowering moss tiny droplets of moisture condensed in the cool morning air, entwining the tiny flower buds with the surface tension of water.
Glass Jewels
Like blown glass these tiny jewels would be easy to miss unless you were pointing a 300mm manual lens at them mounted on the front of (in this case) a Panasonic Lumix Gf2 which is a very sharp piece of travel kit.
Do you See the Reflections ?
Acting as mirrors, If you look carefully you will see imagery from behind reflected on the concave rear inner surface. In some cases depending on the angle, you can see an entire vista not visible at this scale of mere millimetres. In others you can see surrounding foliage.
Technical
These photos use a Tamron SP 300mm lens set to macro, handheld by placing the end of the lens on the wall. The manual aperture setting means the camera can control the shutter speed but not the f.number ( so example is 1/30th @ ISO 200 )
